Monroe Point is a water front and water access community.  Construction has been completed on the first phase of the community marina.  More than 50 boat slips of various sizes are in place.  The Potomac River is 6 miles wide at Colonial Beach providing a spectacular boating playground.  The river is just a quick ride down Monroe Bay which is a protected body of water.
